BreathingProper standup, relaxed posture. Breathe in slowly (5 sec) expanding diaphram (only). Breath out slowly with hiss sound.
SirenMake “ng” or “ooh” sound and glide up and down pitch range.
Lip TrillsRelax lips and cheeks. Loose pucker while pushing corners of mouth upwards. Inhale through nose and exhale making “brr” sound
Tongue TrillsLike Lip Trills but rolling your “R’s” instead
HummingRelax facial muscles and body. Hum “hmmm” sound with jaw open and lips closed gliding up and down pitch range.
VowelsSing through vowels “Ah, Eh, Ee, Oh, Ooh” on same pitch then step, then glide, up and down pitch range. Keep consistent mouth shape and pay attention to throat muscles.
SolfegeDo, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Ti, Do
Up and down scale starting from middle C. Focus on pitch. Then variations.
