Breathing | Proper standup, relaxed posture. Breathe in slowly (5 sec) expanding diaphram (only). Breath out slowly with hiss sound. |

Lip Trills | Relax lips and cheeks. Loose pucker while pushing corners of mouth upwards. Inhale through nose and exhale making “brr” sound |
Tongue Trills | Like Lip Trills but rolling your “R’s” instead |
Humming | Relax facial muscles and body. Hum “hmmm” sound with jaw open and lips closed gliding up and down pitch range. |
Vowels | Sing through vowels “Ah, Eh, Ee, Oh, Ooh” on same pitch then step, then glide, up and down pitch range. Keep consistent mouth shape and pay attention to throat muscles. |
Solfege | Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Ti, Do Up and down scale starting from middle C. Focus on pitch. Then variations. |

Yawn | Open jaw wide and breath in deeply as if yawning. Exhale slowly while closing mouth (bring lips together but teeth apart). Keep jaw, tongue and shoulders relaxed. Then try humming while exhaling |
Jaw loosening | Drop jaw at back where jawbone meets cheekbone. Avoid just dropping chin. |
Jaw massaging | Use fingers or palms to massage muscles in the area below where jawbone meets cheekbone. Use circular motion while lowering and raising jaw. |
